Exciting Sleepover

March 31, 2007 @ 6:03 pm (Permalink)

So I survived an awesome sleepover after that long nap. XD Ahmi and I met at Sarah’s place. We started the night off with ordering some funky Korean pizzas from Mr. Pizza in her neighbourhood. $40 for two regular-sized pizzas. X_X;; A rip off, but at least it tastes good.

Throughout the night, till 2:30am, we did the following stuff: (I can’t remember what order we did them in now…)

* Watched Enter the Phoenix. Ahmi and Sarah hadn’t seen it, so I bought it over. At least they enjoyed it!

* Watched at least four or five episodes of Ebichu. That was on crack… holy crap. XD I am never going to think of hamsters in the same way any more. X_X;;

* Watched all the Men on Films flicks from the In Living Colours television series. Oh. My. God. Those little flicks were awesome. I loved it. Could not stop laughing at all.

* Created Miis on Sarah’s Wii. I had a hard time controlling that darn remote for a while.

* Watched some clips of Legend of Zelda: The Twilight Princess. Still have no desire to play the game as well as the other Zeldas, and after watching her play some parts, it looks difficult with that damn remote thing. BUT. The music rocked. I want the soundtrack.

* Educated Ahmi on some topics… XD

Then we all woke up by 11 today. After eating breakfast till we parted, we played with Sarah’s Wii some more. We started off with Wii Sports. I like the bowling and the boxing one. I didn’t bother trying the tennis or the baseball games.

We continued on with Wii Play. Screw Laser Hockey, although the fishing thing was fun. XD The cow driving thing was difficult, and the tank one… let’s not go there.

Then I wanted to play some levels of Donkey Kong Country 1 on the Virtual Console. Oh man… memories!

But the best part about the “overrated and hyped up” Wii? (Honestly, until the next game, I wasn’t impressed with the Wii and even before finally trying it out, I was just sick of hearing about it.) Wario Ware: Smooth Moves. I’d so get a Wii just for that game. That game is utterly on crack. Nintendo got some strange game makers. XD XD

Ah, fun sleepover. I want to go back to Sarah’s place just to play Wario Ware. I am not ready to buy my own yet since I have no money and no time to play games. I want to play that game!

Long “Nap”

March 30, 2007 @ 4:43 am (Permalink)

Remind me never to take a nap when I’m really exhausted because I just went and screwed up my sleeping schedule.

Yesterday, I decided to take a nap at 4:30pm to 6:00pm. I did hear my alarm clock go off (aka Sponty the cellphone) and decided to just snooze for a few more minutes. That few minutes turned into a total of 11 hours of sleep. X_X;; The next time I woke up, it was probably midnight. I went back to sleep and finally woke up at 3:30am today.

Right. That was definitely a long nap.

Now I just hope I can stay awake for the sleepover party at Sarah’s tonight… o_O

Relaxing Weekend

March 25, 2007 @ 10:13 pm (Permalink)

Considering that this is the first weekend where I actually had both Saturday and Sunday off… you don’t know what a difference that makes after not having a full weekend off for eight, EIGHT weeks!

I’ve been catching up on a bunch of stuff… heck, I even did my conference questions for my online class, TODAY…which was due today. Now normally I’d be the first to post, but this week, procrastination with schoolwork hit me.

But I did get some good news this week aside from certain issues I won’t mention:

* Got my acceptance email from Phi Kappa Phi that I’m a member. Which meant that express mail paid off. XD

* I discovered I received an “A” for IFSM 310. o_O I will not complain at that fact. I honestly have no clue how that…happened.

Now to go back to catching up on stuff… *looks at the pile of video games, mangas, animes, and movies* I will never finish completing the pile. Blargh.

The Most Precious Thing…

March 21, 2007 @ 10:03 pm (Permalink)

The most precious thing to me at the moment is… *drumroll* A Day Off.

Oh how I love thee, let me count the ways…

After not having a day off in 18 days, I deserve thee more than anything else. Also through all the pain of work, school, and theft-related stress, I definitely needed a day off.

Now it would even be better if my online class was not in session, then it’d be a real break since face-to-face classes are on breaks! Bah.

Speaking of classes, I found out I got my Bible as Lit grade, and it’s an A. No more Bible. NO MORE BIBLE. Especially the New Testament. I will NOT understand the purposes of those stupid Epistles! I’ll stick with the Old Testament minus the Leviticus section. I just did not enjoy the New Testament.

But ah, the day off for today was enjoyed dearly. Started a new RP with Misty. Mwahahaha. Then I rped for a good five hours with her. Time sure flew by then!

Oh, and I still have no clue what’s going on with the themes… screw it. I’ll stick with this one for now.

But day off… *hugs it* I gained all my sanity back.

…The Hell?

March 18, 2007 @ 10:53 pm (Permalink)

Okay, so I don’t check my blog for a damn week or so, and I come back to it broken, with none of my themes compatible with Word Press.

…The hell happened that fucked my codes?

…It was fine one minute, and then boom it collapsed on me.

…What is next in store for me?

…Everyone live with this default WP layout for now. If I ever get around to creating a new layout, expect that in ten years since I will never understand WP’s evil coding of doom.
