End of the Year Review

December 31, 2005 @ 12:04 am (Permalink)

Overall – All in all… o_O It was quite… a busy year! I had my shares of ups and down. It certainly beats the 96-97 and 01-02 year. I hope that 2006 will be a much better year especially since I am turning 21!!!!!!! Happy New Years, everyone!

New FL, Room, & Scarf

December 28, 2005 @ 11:11 pm (Permalink)

I forgot to mention that I am now an owner of a fanlisting dedicated to Orgasm. Not those kind of orgasms, pervs. THE DRINK. One of my favourite alcoholic drinks. Check it out.

Also, I updated my personal site with pictures of my room. If you are curious and wants to know how my bedroom looks like, now’s your chance.

Lastly, I mentioned that I have a Slytherin scarf, right? Here’s a picture to show my sexy scarf. ^_^

That’s enough webpage stuff for me. *dies*

Christmas 2005

December 25, 2005 @ 10:04 pm (Permalink)

My Christmas was alright.

I basically got the following:

* 30,000 won ($30) from Mi Son’s mum
* 30,000 won from my aunt
* $200 dollar gift card for the AAFES PX or BX from Daddy/Mummy
* Phone call from Mi Son
* The Nutcracker ballet ticket from Jacquie
* A drabble from Under Lucius
* Cards from Jen and Janna
* A card with a Slytherin!Lina keychain from Tokki-Chan and Mochi
* Many holidays wishes from lots of peeps.

I know I shall have fun with the $200 gift card. XD I can so go on a dvd/books/cds binge with that. Woot! What’s funny about this present was that daddy came out with 3 of the gift cards in his hand. He told us that there was a $250, $200, and $10 cards. Mum and I picked one, and we both wanted the $250 one of course.

Well, Daddy did label the $10 one, but not the other two. Mum and I had no clue which was which. Later, I went to the PX, and we got those scanned. Apparently, Daddy found another card for $50 bucks, so he kept that one, and mummy indeed picked the $250, and I got stuck with the $200 one. Daddy also kept the $10 one hahaha.

When Mi Son called, I was so happy to hear her. We talked for a good long hour. She was telling me that she’s gonna come in January or February. *squeals* I cannot wait! Oh God, it will be torture waiting for her to arrive here.

So my Christmas was alright. I still want a Yamaha Digital Piano, and sadly I saw one for $1400 at the PX today, and Daddy was like NO. *pouts*

Surprisingly, not much relatives came to our place this year, and I was so happy about that since I was kind of doomed to stay home today with no one available to hang out. I did go back out for an hour to walk around Itaewon and my neighbourhood. Ended up buying some stuff so it’s all good. An hour later after I came back, everybody left, so I was very happy to have the house back to the three of us.

Another lonely Christmas, I suppose, but it’s alright. I’m happy, alive, and whatnot.

Christmas Eve

December 24, 2005 @ 1:13 pm (Permalink)

Today’s Christmas Eve, and it sure as hell does not feel like the Christmas holidays at all.

Then again, I think Christmas, for me, has lost all its meaning since we stopped having a Christmas tree like … 10 years ago.

Oh well. I’m happy. That’s all it matters.

To my readers, have a Happy Christmas.

Burnt Out & Winter Break

December 18, 2005 @ 1:19 pm (Permalink)

For the last couple weeks, I’ve been feeling burnt out from school and work, but most of school. My face-to-face classes finally ended today. This entire week was so tiring even if I only worked for two days, and those two days were my first time subbing at the middle school.

Aside from work, this entire week was devoted to these three things that had to be done by today: English presentation, English final exam, and English six-paged paper. On Wednesday, I stayed up till 2 working on my final exam and presentation. Last night, I stayed up till 2 as well to do my paper. After this term, I am sick of Mark Twain and Stephen Crane.

Well, at least winter break officially beings for me today! Then my work will be resumed on January 3rd, if I get any days, and face-to-face classes should resume around the third week of January. So basically I got a month long break from the classes. I still have my one online class though.

Even though I was feeling burnt out, this week I attended two performances. The SAHS Winter Concert on Thursday, and I went to see The Nutcracker, full ballet performance with Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra playing for my Music class field trip. I went with Jacquie, and she paid for our each of our 50,000 won tickets, the second best ticket of the house. We had a pretty darn good seat, and oh man, the performance was so magical. It would have been more magical if it wasn’t for some stupid audience members distracting the show! But dang, it was worth it!

So here are my plans for my winter break:

* Hang out with Tina practically 24/7!
* Watch a heck of a lot of movies I have piled up to watch.
* Play video games, specifically Tales of Symphonia.
* RP and update some webpages.
* SLEEP
* My online class.

Not a bad plan. I miss my bumming around days, and I shall have it back once more!
